Montauk

Nathan and Kyle are home from the Montauk, NY Joel Tudor Invitational.

I've only heard a few brief stories of the trip, but it sounded like a great week.

Kyle hung out with Thomas Campbell, and everyone else you could think of.

Haven't seen Nate yet, but I hear he surfed great.

Welcome home.

"See you in Tokyo!"

While we were in Tokyo, we went to dinner with Yusuke Hanai. He took us to an incredible sushi restaurant on the 14th floor of a high-rise in Shibuya.

This guy is one of the most enjoyable people you'll meet, and of course, an amazingly talented artist.

"Go your own way"

SURF JAPAN

U-SKE sent over some surfing photos that he shot while we were there.

We didn't meet U-SKE (Yusuke Suzuki) until the day after our magical dream session, but he did get some good shots of a few small says around Hiratsuka.

Singlefin All Stars '10 - Day 2

Nathan, Tomo and I participated in the Single Fin All Stars contest in Shizoka last week. We arrived at the beach just before sunrise, and we didn't leave until after sunset. Needless to say, it was the longest beach day of my life. Because of the party at Ron Herman the night before, we slept like 3 hours before we had to make the 3 hour drive from Hiratsuka to Shizoka. It was quite a wild introduction to Japan, but we had a blast.

I got a crazy micro-fiber towel, designed by our friend Mr. Hanai.

Nate made it to the final!

Yuta and Ryoko were there!

And people seemed pretty stoked on Nathan's noseride take-offs.
