The Difference and Hour Makes

4 days on the road, but we were fortunate enough to get some nice little waves at Fort Point on Sunday. It was dead flat and pouring rain when we checked it in the morning, barely breaking when we decided to paddle out, and it was head-high and sunny by the time we were surfed out.

Fortunately it flipped on about 10 minutes after we paddled out.

Very fun, very cold trip.

San Diego to San Francisco

Heading out on a road trip from S.D. to S.F. this morning with Schuyler McFerran and Hagan Kelley. Doing some filming for Surf Life. Going to surf up the California coast for 4 days. Hoping to run into some friends along the way.

Should be an adventure... see you Tuesday!

(Somehow).... I left this all behind and came home today.

Australia is an amazing place, and needless to say I'll be going back soon.

Aloha Santa Cruz

KyleLightner.com and I are heading out pre-dawn tomorrow for Santa Cruz so we can watch Nathan and the rest of the crew participate in the Joel Tudor Invitational this weekend.

Kyle will probably take a few photos along the way.

I've never been to Santa Cruz, so I'm looking forward to it.

With all those talented loggers in one lineup, it's going to be one for the ages.

SURF JAPAN

U-SKE sent over some surfing photos that he shot while we were there.

We didn't meet U-SKE (Yusuke Suzuki) until the day after our magical dream session, but he did get some good shots of a few small says around Hiratsuka.

Heading Home
