Trunks | Thalia Street

Almond Fine Surfing Trunks are now available at Thalia St. Surf Shop, Laguna Beach.

We also dropped off a killer little 5'6 Kookumber while we were down there, so check it out.

Scotty | Kookumber

Scotty Stopnik came by last night to pick up his new 5'2 mustard yellow Kookumber, just in time for his trip to Japan.

Lightner snapped these photos of him inspecting it.

Simon Perini's Kookumber

Here's Simon's self portrait with his new 5'6 Kookumber. Glad it made it back safely to Australia, glass-on fin and all.

Big thanks to Ron from Waterman's Guild for getting it all packed up safely.

And thanks to Lightner for introducing Simon and I, via the time he has invested in Grass is Greener.

Simon Perini

Was super stoked to finally get to chat with Simon in person. He was in town from Australia, and picked up a 5'6 Kookumber to take back home.

Simon and his Wife are wonderful individuals.

Here are some of Simon's wonderful photographs.

Best wishes my GiG Amigo.

Summer is Over

Although I'm not quite ready to call it Fall outside, it's safe to say that Summer is over. Excited to see what the new season holds. Perhaps some offshore combo-swell days?

Kookumber Inlay

The {Kookumber} might be my favorite board for chest to head high days. Really stoked that we've gotten some really good feedback on them this summer. Possibly the best looking one we've done.

Shaping Room Photo { kookumber }

Here's a photo Lightner took a few months back, of Griffin and I discussing tweaks to the kookumber.  Since then, I think we've really gotten the kookumber dialed in to what we intended it to be. Based on the feedback we've been getting recently, I'm pretty stoked on the shape.
