KOCI 101.5

The Japanese Motors were on 101.5 KOCI today at noon doing an interview and playing some live songs.  AND... I just found out Gantez Warrior will be doing the same on Thursday night between 7 and 9 p.m.

Don't miss it... it will be a trip to hear Levi, Dylan and Ronnie on the radio.

Cheers dudes.

Here's the Motors' video, Singlefins & Safety Pins.  Be sure to check Levi's cameo appearance in the video at 1:49.

Water Shot

Here's another water shot of Levi...

Observation...

I don't get it... every one of these guys, with the exception of the "artist" on the right, is like the quintessential ...LOST customer.  Read.

Blackies Footage

Here's some footage from Blackies last June.  Fast Forward to 7:55, you'll see Al Knost drop in on Ludwig.  Haha, it's funny...

Other than that, it's just a bunch of good surfing.  I think King Rat even made an appearance.

Picaresque Trailer

Judging by this trailer, I think Picaresque is going to be a must-see film.

Beacon Article

Brooks Clark wrote an article about Almond Surfboards for the Beacon Newspaper. Take a look...

Thanks Brooks.

T. Jones and his Kookumber

Caught up with Trevor yesterday morning at Blackies.  Sounds like he's been digging his kookumber.  He said he got Northside of the HB Pier good last week.

Worth the Wait...

I've been surfing the cordless log all week, and having a blast.  It's much more lively than the 10 footer I've been surfing for the last couple years.

I was so excited to surf it the first day, that I picked up Levi and bolted to the beach... forgetting to get my wetsuit.  The sun was just setting, so it was a do-or-die decision.  Needless to say I paddled out at Blackies in trunks on Monday evening.

The water wasn't as cold as I had anticipated.  I surfed for 30 or 40 minutes until it was too dark.  I was so excited about the new log, that I don't even think I touched the water.  I was skipping across the surface while I paddled out.  Big thanks to Ronnie for letting me steal his wave to get my first solid noseride on it.

Candy Coated Cordless

Finally got my cordless board back from the glass shop... and I couldn't be happier with it...

3 other logs came back today as well.

Water Photos

I've had an unfinished roll of film on a disposable water camera since our trip to Baja last December (2007)  Having Lightner shoot some water-photography recently reminded me that I needed to finish the roll and get those pics developed.   well, I finally got around to finishing the roll, and was stoked at the results.

Here are some of the stand-out shots.
