Newport Classic Contest

"King Rat" took home first place in the Longboard division of today's 10th Annual Newport Classic surf contest, on his extra narrow 9'2 Log Rhythm.

Other Almond enthusiasts, Michael Maddox and Taylor Patton finished 3rd and 4th respectively, in a  super-stacked final heat.

Water Photos

I've had an unfinished roll of film on a disposable water camera since our trip to Baja last December (2007)  Having Lightner shoot some water-photography recently reminded me that I needed to finish the roll and get those pics developed.   well, I finally got around to finishing the roll, and was stoked at the results.
