Here is an amazing collaboration that Lightner and Lovelace put together for the Grass is Greener Project.

Levi's Kookumber at Sea

Levi hit the water at blackies this morning on his new 5'10 avocado and brown kookumber model.  It was a little small for shortboarding, but levi was styling as usual.  More pics to come.

Alaia Influence

Hoping to finish my alaia today.  Not surprisingly, everyone who has stopped by while I was working on it has been perplexed beyond belief.  Here are a few rad images of alaias being surfed the way they should.  Let's just hope I can get into waves on mine...

Matt Costa

This is one of my favorite music videos.

Alaia Update

Spent about 4 hours on the Alaia today.  Really pleased with how it's coming together.  It has a pretty defined v-bottom, and a flat deck.  I also eased the entry in the nose, allowing the thickness to carry forward a little more, without inhibiting trimming capabilities.

Look from the nose, at the entry foil.

V-bottom up. 1" thick in the middle, 1/4" at the rails.  I set it upside-down here to show the v of the bottom.

Congrats Adam!

Big congrats to our dear friend Adam Goodman, for a huge Rose Bowl victory today.  (And a great 8 yard catch.)

Quite possibly the best surfing Division 1 football player in the nation... and one of the finest people you'll ever meet.
