Cruise by the shop tomorrow for an evening of festivities, including but not limited to: A Live Performance by the Smart Brothers, The release of 4 new shirt designs, The unveiling of the first batch of Almond Trunks, The first public appearance by the newly released "Nathan Adams Model" surfboard. And we might even have a visual treat at the end of the night. A little teaser for a film we're working on.

My friend, Jason, gave me a copy of Jamie Budge's The Living Curl, and I absolutely loved it.  Some really good early 60's footage.  If we ever get a TV at the shop, we'll be playing it on the regular.  For now, enjoy the trailer.

Matunas Organic Surf Wax

Almond is now carrying Matunas Organic Surf Wax, and we're super pumped on the stuff.

All the ingredients are grown on the Matoon family's farm in Santa Cruz and it smells like heaven.  Not to mention it works way better than you're imagining in your head.  Definitely a worthy pick. And definitely endorsed by all of us over here at Almond.
