Mustache Promotion

You may be starting to think that the mustache trend is on the decline.  But, we're here to remind you that mustaches are a facial feature that extend beyond generations.  In honor of hairy upper lips and independence day, we're running a special from now until the 4th of July...

If you come to the shop with an impressive mustache, you get 50% off the "mustache" t-shirt.  If it's really shocking, you might even get it for free. Peach Fuzz doesn't count, so I'm not even eligible.

Shaping Room Photo { kookumber }

Here's a photo Lightner took a few months back, of Griffin and I discussing tweaks to the kookumber.  Since then, I think we've really gotten the kookumber dialed in to what we intended it to be. Based on the feedback we've been getting recently, I'm pretty stoked on the shape.

Krochet Kids International

Krochet Kids have some new tees and tanks out.  Check them out, or stop by the shop to see their display.

Also, these guys have had some amazing ideas over the years, but this might be one of their best yet... they now have a tag inside each beanie that lets you know which of the wonderful ugandan ladies crocheted your hat.  Rad.

Graduation

Jeremy is graduating from Vanguard today.  If you see him... give him a big shaka, or thumbs up or pat on the head.  Congrats dude.

We just did a thruster for Cort with glass on plywood fins. A bit different than most of the stuff in the lineup at 54th these days.

Theo just did this painting of one of my all-time favorite musicians, Mason Jennings. Mason signed it, and it was donated to an event to help end youth homelessness.

Brother Kyle

Lightner was in town yesterday, so we hung out for a while and chatted about everything going on in our lives and careers lately. That man loves what he does, and he does it well.

Lovelace

I love this photo Morgan took of Lovelace with his 11' Glider.  Common belief is that a rock was responsible for Ryan's head trauma, but I just have a lingering suspicion this thing had to be the culprit. 

9'7 Surf Thump at Thalia
