Hand Planes by Gully

With all the buzz about hand planes, Gully couldn't help but try making some. I was shocked by how much of a difference a hand plane makes on a wave. They're super fun, and the Gull has applied his precise craftsmanship to these little planing devices.

My favorite part about having them in the shop has been how many people ask why we're selling wooden sandals.

There's the new reef sandal idea, forget a bottle opener, how about a sandal/handplane... let's see it happen.

Ahoy!

We're now stocking board bags from Ahoy! We've got a variety of sizes and styles in here now. Darren from Ahoy has been cranking these things out lately.

Impossible Education

Generic Youth's Jeff Yokoyama does a class/mentoring/apprenticeship with creative young people looking to break free into the wild world of business.

Our buddy Andrew took part in the first class over there, and his graduation party at GY is coming up. Check him out and support their efforts.
