All I need is...
Here are a couple photos of our friends Thomas and Christian body surfing last weekend. Somewhere in America.
In both photos, Christian has my Flip video camera in hand. Looking forward to seeing some documentation of their escapades.

Cyrus Sutton | 3D7D
Here's a brand new 9'7 Cy's Aquatic Almond for the shop.
//Sanded Gloss Finish, Glass on Mahogany Pintail Fin//
Also, if you're wondering what Cy has been up to recently... watch this 3-Dimensional Rincon video he put together recently. Cy and Mike Sheldrake developed a little 3D adapter for Cy's Canon 7D that is quite an impressive little contraption. Expect to see more depth in Cy's videos in the future...

Joel Tudor Invitational | Santa Cruz
Had a blast at the Vans Invitational this weekend. The waves were pumping, the weather was beautiful and everyone was surfing like bonkers.
Everyone was surfing so insane. Honestly, any single one of those guys could have won the contest. But Alex was surfing like a man possessed. One of the most impressive surfing performances I've ever seen. In the final, he was a little dot on the horizon scrapping into overhead waves and then doing what Al does best... all the way to the inside.
Burch surprised a few people by making it to the final. Although it really shouldn't surprise anyone. The guy can just flat out surf on anything. (As he has proven again and again)
Such an honor to get to be there this weekend and experience the whole thing.
Thanks so much to Joel and Vans for everything. They did an incredible job, and pulled on one for the ages.

Aloha Santa Cruz
KyleLightner.com and I are heading out pre-dawn tomorrow for Santa Cruz so we can watch Nathan and the rest of the crew participate in the Joel Tudor Invitational this weekend.
Kyle will probably take a few photos along the way.
I've never been to Santa Cruz, so I'm looking forward to it.
With all those talented loggers in one lineup, it's going to be one for the ages.

Joel Tudor x Vans Event #3 | Jan 14-15
The third event in the Joel Tudor x Duct Tape x Vans series will be held next weekend in Santa Cruz, CA.
Nathan got "the call" yesterday informing him that he's in!
Other participants include: Harrison Roach, Jared Mell, Chris del Moro, Al Knost, Justin Quintal, Christian Wach, Dane Peterson, Tyler Warren, Mikey DeTemple, JJ Wessels, Troy Elmore, and a few others.
Should be an incredible weekend of surfing at the Lane, probably going to make the trek up there to witness it.
Congrats Nate, stoked you're in the contest.

5'3 Sandia Fish
We recently tweaked the Sandia Fish template a little bit to make it a little straighter throughout. It's a touch narrower than it was before, and we straightened out the template through the tail, making the tail a touch wider. Overall, I'm really happy with how this one looks.
This 5'3 is for Scotty Stopnik, so it will be up to him to do some R&D on the redesign and give us feedback.
