Fins by Stavron!

I hug out with Christian in San Clemente yesterday, and we spent most of the afternoon hanging around Mark Stavron's shop (O'fish'l Fins) while Mark foiled some incredible fins for Christian's Australia trip.

Christian designed both of these templates for his 1o' CJ Nelson Model Aviso that he will be riding in the Noosa Noseriding contest next month. (Where he'll be defending his title and looking for a three-peat)

The first fin was a modification he made of the Huck Finn we made for his Almond Log Rhythm. He lengthened the fin base and straightened out the trailing edge. (Looks siiick)

The second one Christian cut out from a piece of paper without even drawing it first. he just took a pair of scissors to a piece of paper, and went with it.

I was so stoked on the fins, and what a rad guy mark was, that we're talking about some Almond fin-box fins via Stavron in the near future.

Best of luck to our sea walking amigo, Christian, in the Noosa Contest this year.

That 'Vato' fin is amazing. If you get some more made, it will surely be glassed into my next board, indiscriminate of size or shape.
